This is a genuine Land Rover raised air intake (snorkel) for the Defender L663.

This snorkel is part of the Explorer Pack, but we have listed it for sale separately here.

This is the updated design snorkel which is Land Rover part number VPLEP0543.

The early snorkel designs suffered from loose fitting problems and plastic brackets that were prone to breakage.

The later design snorkel looks exactly the same once fitted but includes a number of improvements.

We will also include a simple rivnut tool (this is not included with the snorkel kit from Land Rover and you need one to complete the install).

Although this snorkel may appear to increase your wading depth in deep water it does not - its purpose is to suck cleaner dust free air into the engine so is actually better suited to dry and dusty environments!

The snorkel is made from tough ABS plastic and comes with fitting kit and instructions.

This is a brand new genuine Land Rover part.
